UNIversal Single camera-based 3D sensing for COmprehensive human PErception – The aim of the UNISCOPE-3D project is to develop highly innovative software algorithms that enable robust and precise three-dimensional analysis of the human body with a single camera. This comprehensive analysis of the human body from individual camera images is essential for a wide range of industries and applications due to its increased robustness and low system costs. As part of UNISCOPE-3D, we will apply and evaluate the results of the project in the core area of company partner emotion3D, occupant monitoring in vehicle environments. The envisioned solution can enable advanced human-machine interaction and user experience, intelligent and personalized safety (e.g. personalized airbag deployment) and vehicle automation, among others.
