My name is Manuel Keglevic and I am a research assistant and PhD student at the Computer Vision Lab at TU Wien. I received my MSc in Visual Computing 2013 at the TU Wien. To gain experience in the private sector I worked two years as a C++ developer at Austria Card where I focused on smartcard personalization in a highly secure environment.
In fall 2015 I returned to the Computer Vision Lab to work on the FORMS. Currently I’m working on the impress project in cooperation with the Austrian Ministry of the Interior where I’m applying deep learning to the automatic comparison of shoeprints (like in CSI).
My research interests are pattern recognition, computer vision, and machine learning applications.
